Photography Camp

Prepare to capture the world around you one frame at a time! This course covers basic concepts of digital photography. We will cover photography equipment and its purpose. The course will address aesthetic principles as they relate to composition, space, exposure, light and color. Each day will be themed based on our Boys & Girls Club of America National Photography Program to get your child’s creative juices flowing. Finally, the course will introduce editing software, in order to learn the basic principles for enhancing your photos. Cameras will be provided at a $10 rental fee and a waiver will need to be signed in case of damage to the camera.

Art Explorers

Explore the visual arts through this hands-on camp! Abstract to contemporary, collage to acrylic…Club members will experiment with different art mediums each day to create their own masterpieces from art movements throughout history. Parents will be able to pick up necessary art supplies prior to camp.

Director’s Cut Film Camp

Lights…Camera…Action packed camps are hard to come by, but this camp is sure to be a blockbuster hit. Come learn the art of visual storytelling, as we gain valuable practice in storyboarding, scriptwriting, acting, recording film, and post-production using Adobe Premiere Elements or Pro. If your child has ever dreamed of being a professional in the film industry or is just curious about what it might be like, this camp is for them!

BGC 3D Camp

Welcome to the new dimension of virtual summer camps. You won’t believe what your kids can actually create with modern technology! This new dimension of printing capability is not only a cool way to solve complex problems, but also a way to express yourself with a new visual medium. Your kids will learn how to design with Fusion 360 3D software and print variety of cool projects in this revolutionized virtual Summer camp. Kids will make their own Minecraft Cubes and checker board set along with other fun projects.
